FRAME.LIFE 2015 Photo Marathon, Magazine

As the first Photo Marathon Edition of FRAME LIFE, this issue lays a theoretical foundation for a model of collective documentary photography that is quickly growing across the region. With the 2015 Photo Marathon archive, we explore three cities through the lenses of 170 photographers and 12 themes. In this issue you will find featured images from the jury award winners and galleries allowing you to discover three overlapping cities through the diverse perspectives and angles of our contributors. Our intent is to use the universal language of the image and the accessibility of digital space to build a bridge across borders and cultures. FRAME.life is a social media platform and on-the-ground photo action tool that brings people together to examine subjects simultaneously through visual documentation. FRAME is set to use photography to visualize and analyze issues through the perspective of the diverse lenses of large groups. The mission is to inform, document, and publish using the power of the collective eye.
